Actualmente estamos en búsqueda de un/a ESX HYPERVISOR ADMINISTRATOR para proyecto híbrido ubicado en Madrid y Málaga, por lo que es posible ir a cualquiera de las 2 oficinas (3 dias/semana).

SERVICE DESCRIPTION: ESX / Hypervisor Administration and Operations

The ESX Administration and Operations Service provides comprehensive support, daily management, and advanced maintenance of virtualization platforms based on VMware ESX/ESXi, ensuring stability, availability, and optimal performance of the organization's virtual environments.

SERVICE SCOPE:

1. Hypervisor Operation and Support (ESX Run Operation)
Daily management of the ESX/ESXi environment.
Proactive monitoring of host, VM, and resource health.
Execution and analysis of periodic system health checks.
2. Incident and Problem Management
Handling and resolution of hypervisor-related incidents.
Advanced diagnosis of operating system issues.
Root cause analysis and problem resolution to improve environment stability.
3. Change and Request Management
Controlled implementation of changes within the ESX environment.
Execution of ITIL processes: Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request.
Build execution and service request fulfillment.
4. Operating System Administration
Advanced operating system support in virtualized environments.
Alignment and adjustment of OS parameters according to standards.
Kernel routing table management: creation, backup, and restoration.
5. Maintenance and Updates
Application of patches to hypervisors and related systems.
Management of shared storage resources such as NFS Exports.
Post patch validation and documentation of applied changes.
6. Communication and Coordination
Acting as the point of contact for internal and external communications related to the platform.
Preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders.
Demonstration of strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills with a servant leadership approach

REQUIREMENTS:

Nivel de inglés B2
7–10 years of experience with ESX hypervisor administration.
Advanced knowledge in operating system support and monitoring.
Understanding of basic networking concepts relevant to virtualized environments.
OS issue diagnosis and troubleshooting.
Basic scripting skills (considered an advantage).
Secondary skillset in Linux administration.
Service Deliverables
Periodic ESX environment health and status reports.
Logs and documentation of managed incidents, problems, and changes.
Technical documentation of configurations, patches, and parameter updates.
Quality assurance to ensure all deliverables meet established standards.

DESIRABLE:

•             Lugar de trabajo: HIBRIDO MADRID O MÁLAGA – 3 DIAS PRESENCIALES Y 2 REMOTO A LA SEMANA
•             Horario: De Lunes a Viernes cobertura de 7:00 a 19:00
                - Turnos: 07:00-15:00/ 8:00-17:00/10:00-19:00)
•             Guardias: 1 al mes aprox
•             Contrato indefinido con IRIUM
•             Retribución flexible ✌
•             Banda salarial: Según valía y experiencia (30 – 39K)
