Buscamos un/a AI Engineer para proyecto internacional de sector farmacéutico. The AI Engineer will design, develop, and implement AI models and systems for molecular data modeling and pharmaceutical research applications, focusing on turning complex life sciences data into actionable insights through advanced machine learning and GenAI techniques. This role requires hands-on development of information retrieval systems, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications, and knowledge graph solutions for portfolio management and competitive intelligence in the pharmaceutical domain.

🔍 ¿Qué buscamos?:

FUNCIONES
  • Hands-on development of Gen AI applications including RAG systems, agentic workflows, and information retrieval solutions for molecular and pharmaceutical data
  • Design and implement ML models (classification, regression, clustering, NLP) with focus on life sciences applications including transcriptomics data analysis
  • Build and maintain knowledge graphs for competitive intelligence and portfolio management
  • Develop production-ready APIs and microservices for AI model deployment using FastAPI and cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including life sciences domain experts to align AI solutions with business needs
  • Work hands-on in an agile development environment, contributing to production-ready AI applications with rapid prototyping capabilities
  • Stay up-to-date with AI advancements particularly in GenAI, LLMs, and pharmaceutical AI applications, integrating relevant innovations into ongoing projects
  • Continuously monitor and optimize AI models to improve accuracy, efficiency, scalability and reliability
  • Document processes, models, architectures and key learnings; contribute to building internal AI capabilities
  • Ensure AI models adhere to ethical standards, privacy regulations, and fairness guidelines
  • Qualifications.

IMPRESCINDIBLE
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mathematics, computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics, or related quantitative field
  • Advanced expertise in Python and familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL, Graph databases)
  • Proficiency in GenAI tools, specifically AWS Bedrock
  • Full understanding of agentic systems and workflows (experience with frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience building and productionizing RAG systems and information retrieval solutions
  • Experience with knowledge graph construction and querying
  • Strong understanding of ML fundamentals including deep learning architectures (ability to explain conceptual differences such as transformers vs LSTMs, attention mechanisms, etc.)
  • Experience productionizing GenAI services and working with complex, unstructured datasets
  • Advanced experience developing APIs with Python (using FastAPI or similar) and deploying them to production
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, algorithms, optimization, and scaling
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving attitude with focus on practical implementation and rapid prototyping
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new domains and technologies
  • C1 English level required (strong verbal and written communication skills essential for collaboration with international team)
  • Must Have:
  • Python (advanced level)
  • AWS Bedrock
  • RAG systems development
  • Agentic AI workflows
  • Strong ML fundamentals (conceptual understanding, not just tool usage)

DESEABLE
  • Life sciences, pharmaceutical, or molecular biology domain knowledge
  • Experience with transcriptomics or genomics data
  • LangChain / LangGraph frameworks
  • Knowledge graph technologies (Neo4j, RDF, SPARQL, or similar)
  • Cloud engineering experience (AWS cloud services beyond Bedrock)
  • Snowflake
  • Software development experience (e.g., React JS)
  • Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, etc.)
  • Competitive intelligence or market research analytics background
